Roland Burris Defends Appointment

It’ll be interesting if the state Senate or the Secretary of State try to block his appointment. Burris is really tainted no matter what he does.

Go Mr Burris! Thanks for standing up for the rights of the people of Illinois. It is time that people stood up against controversies and injustices. This is supposed to be a country where we are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. Since when do we become guilty by association? Thanks again for doing your job and for going against the grain. Tell Mr. Reid that this country is not a place for dictators and that he works for the people of the United States. It is time that he fell off of his high horse and started to do the people’s will.
