Will Clinton Act To Ban “Private Mercenaries”?

Earlier this month, I commented on the indictment of several Blackwater Worldwide security guards for their role in the killing of 17 Iraqis. There’s more news to this story, as apparently during the heat of the Democratic primaries Hillary Clinton cosponsored with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) the Stop Outsourcing Security Act.

The Act specifically called for the Secretary of State, an office she will be occupying next year, to act in making sure that American defense is provided for by the military:

Not later than 6 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall ensure that all personnel at any United States diplomatic or consular mission in Iraq are provided security services only by Federal Government personnel.

Hillary Clinton was a strong proponent of the Iraq war at its onset, talking down protesters on the eve of war. She ran as president saying that she would end the war. Clinton is not a woman of strong principle and it remains to be seen whether she sticks to principle on this issue.

Clinton had best do something about the neo-cons ‘brown-shirts’ and she had best do it soon. It is not funny, because the evil neo-cons fascist realitys are just around the corner and no one will be safe…..civil war will be an only solution against these rightwing pigs.

What are you talking about? Civil war????

And who will be on the other side in this civil war, the neo liberal left wing pigs? Name calling does not sound like a solution, it inflames and does not heal.
