Here is a look at prison populations around the world according to the latest issue of The Economist. Only communist China, the scourge of many right-winged Americans, holds a candle to the US where numbers are concerned. I guess that means the US drug war is working. Somehow.

It’s too late for me, but my kids will go to college in Ireland or Australia. This really has become one of the worst countries in the world.

Looking at this further, I’m amazaed at how much this Graph sucks. They shortened the to 2 lines so they could fit the guys’ head in the photo.
If the graph were accurate the China line would end in the middle of the guy’s head & the US line would extend out beyond the edge of the picture instead of it looking like we’re just a little bit higher than the nearest neighbor.

HOLY S***! We put a lot of people in prison.

One would think we could find room here for those gitmo folks since it looks like we do a better job at jailing people than anyone ever in the history of the world.
