Reagan was the reason I registered Republican when I first turned 18. Its a shame what they have done.
Really? What a waste. Reagan established the policy foundations that would send America on it’s downward spiral towards right-wing extremism and quadrillion debt.
I agree with everything but your apostrophe: its, not it’s.
No one likes the semantics police.

This picture makes my heart smile.
“In this free nation we do not choose to be ruled, we elect to be governed.”
— Barry Goldwater
We elect to be governed? Yeah, republican style:
“Bend over, shut up, and close your eyes.”
Do you know the differences between Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, John Mccain and George W. Bush? Ron Paul in his campaign showed what the difference is between the Neocons and true Conservatives.

Thank God Reagan is gone.
Too bad the impact of his policies remain. Bu hopefully they will die out soon so that America can really become a world citizen country instead of destructive oddball filled with idol worshipers.
Instead of hoping America becomes Europe, just move to Europe.
Did you know that, regardless of what the highest income tax bracket has been set at, government income of taxes has stayed at approximately 19.5% of GDP since the 1950s? And lower taxes led to job creation and an increased GDP. So, trickle-down theory (i.e. Reaganomics) works.
The new GOP is the problem. You know, the one created in 1994 to retake Congress? How dare you talk about Reagan that way! You truly are misinformed.
Trickle-down created a wider gap between haves & have-nots.
Trickle-down along with “Free Market” created & continue to create fewer quality jobs & lots more service jobs.
“Free Market” created lottsa wall-street jobs at the expense of main-street jobs.
”..Trickle-down created a wider gap between haves & have-nots…”
While moving many more of us more solidly into the “haves” category. A good bargain.
only about 50% of all Americans actually pay taxes, its more like “trickle up” theory as the most honest & responsible taxpayers end up being nothing but suckers. Trickle that down, the next time you are filing your taxes, if you actually pay taxes. How many Americans are riding on your back??
Reagan was a democrat most of his life, most Republican’s have no clue.
I believe “everyone” pays federal taxes including those who are retired & unemployed & those still in high-school…….etc…………
Indeed, the Congressional Budget Office’s most recent calculation of the effective federal tax rate, which is calculated by combining the effective tax rates of the four largest sources of federal revenues, found that in 2005, households in the lowest quintile of income earners pay an average effective federal tax rate of 4.3 percent. The second lowest quintile paid an average effective federal tax rate of 9.9 percent. The table below illustrates the average effective tax rate by income level:
