Reporters Silent on Ron Paul

The more connected you are, within the Washington D.C. circuit; and on the long-stretch between Los Angeles and New York, the more clout you have as a politician. Especially, if you’ve squandered taxpayer money on “bridges to nowhere” (Rick Santorum), Olympic “Games” (Mitt Romney) or have been kick-backed by Fannie & Freddie (Newt Gingrich).

All these, of course, are fine examples of Capitalist enterprise, of leadership and smart capital-management. But what do all these undertakings reveal, about abilities in leadership, necessary to plug the dam of the 2008-unward recession? Not, much.

Ron Paul is the antithesis. He negates almost in it’s entirety, every other issues brought by his opponents in the GOP presidential race. He is not reported on, because those who indeed try to, fail miserably: the way Gerald Seib did, moderating the Republican Debate in South Carolina. Ron Paul is too honest: clear, succinct, philosophically astute. This makes him a slippery fish, to place in the Republican Party, although he is by far the most consequently, stalwartly arch-conservative since that other Gipper, that slipped his way into the White House: Ronald Reagan!

Being less ‘politicized’, in other words by having put his neck out on an execution-block, or guillotine, to amass money, has meant he has to do with less campaign finance. But what Paul has lacked in initial spending, his patriots have donated in turn. No other US politician has ever raised a sum, close to over 1 million, which Paul’s campaign has been able to do in 2011. What this means, is; people base decision on mass-media, pandered bits-and-pieces of evening chatter, boxed soundbites (often misinterpreted) while heading out the door in the morning. Ron Paul is lucky to get 3 minutes airtime, after a debate platform.

Ron Paul followers have a tendency to be raucous. No doubt. How could they not be? Enlightened principles, the Western World, the very ideas of liberty and happiness are being forfeited! Ron Paul can not be bought, by the major parties; his very running as a Republican can be seen as move to be stickered, by the GOP-label. That in itself is strange, since a Ron Paul presidency would entail scaling-back(!) the outcast big-government fishingline/netting. He would shrink spending. He would grind-halt destruction. He would empower individuals. In return, our economy (now free from centralized limitations) would control the world.

Union ties. Illicit arms sales, to Mexican drug cartells. Formally racist Black Panther voter intimidation. Solyndra energy mismanagment. Economic tax cheats (Tim Geithner). Moneybag-juggling lobbyists. Thugs and gangs running ‘committees.’ The Keystone XL pipeline fraudulency. All brought by this one-party system. No matter who sits in office, there is always something to be ‘fixed,’ ‘tweaked,’ ‘porked,’ ‘shuffled,’ ’financed,’ ‘collaborated,’ ’extended!’ Ron Paul would end it all. In a just world. Which this world, is not.

But beyond the deceit, Ron Paul sees a non neo-fascist state. He served in war, never changed his faith, operated the uninsured, remained married, fought corruption, handled birth, saved, thrifted, extended gratiousness, gave back Representative salary. Each time he stands in the House, it is an act of valor against an inept blubbering brood of malfeasance.

The way Cincinnatus ground to a halt, and sheathed his plow. Like George Washington reneged (even) his county political ties (in Virginia) after the Revolutionary War; this is another such moral emblem. Ron Paul would practically guarantee, not to usurp more power. His is a restitution long in the coming, a tornado of libertarianism which, even if diverted, will leave unmistakable fractures on future politics.

Next to Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, Ron Paul is the lone voice in this Wyatt Earp-ian Wild West word-sling. He is no savior. But intellectually sharp, his conservatism unshatterable, his philosophy stoic. His is, a brilliance all Americans could proclaim theirs, if not just one from 250 reporters, actually did their job: and reported. Until then, citizens will have to do, what governments have been too archane or unprincipled or complex, to achieve: live the path of faith in liberty.

Ron Paul supersedes in all respects to be Commander-in-Chief!

It’s Ron Paul or bust. Santorum is the worst candidate I’ve seen come along in some time. I don’t see how someone can support such an angry and judgmental man. How can someone call themselves a Christian and vote for someone who can’t wait to go to war and ignores the Golden Rule?
