NetBoots - Websites for Conservative Campaigns Starting at $50/Month

6 Months of United Liberty

It’s hard to believe that just over six months ago we launched a little project called United Liberty. Ron Paul was starting to scale back his presidential campaign and a small group of us recognized that we had to self-organize to continue the fight for our freedoms beyond any single campaign or election.

Many questions were posed:

  • Would we start a PAC & help candidates in the future?
  • Maybe a non-profit to raise funds and awareness?
  • Quit our jobs, join a commune, and raise money for our Burning Man art installation?

After much debate, we realized that one of the biggest problems that the freedom movement faced was fair, deserved coverage of our perspective.

Who would discuss government intervention in the economy?

… object to preemptive war?
… cover the complete invasion of our privacy?
… voice Constitutional opinions ?
… fiercely defend the potency of a truly free market?
… not kowtow to the messages of fear from the administration?

Few “mainstream” publications meet any of those challenges.

United Liberty, with your help, fully intends to establish itself as a “mainstream” new media presence. We will emphasize real issues and current events within a Constitutional context, respect and renew the ideals presented in the Declaration of Independence, and fiercely defend our Republic.

Decades ago the press and media were on the front line in the defense of our country: exposing waste, evil government, corruption and greed on both the foreign and domestic fronts. May we live in times where we no longer witness a complacent and impotent media participating in a well-oiled, well-funded propaganda machine.

Philosophically, our country has a long road to electing a principled leader like Ron Paul – and we intend on blogging, participating, advocating, and working towards just that moment.

I’d like to thank the UL staff for their hard work in getting us to this point and look forward to a long and prosperous journey with them, and with you. Please join us on our new website and participate as you often as you can. Your readership and participation is strong motivation towards the long and hard hours we work that is more often than not a 100% voluntary effort for many of us.

Thanks for all of your individual efforts.
