NV Senate: Three GOP opponents lead Harry Reid

The latest poll numbers from Nevada continue to show Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in trouble against three potential Republican opponents, Sharron Angle, Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian.

Harry Reid v. Sharron Angle

Reid: 40%
Angle: 51%
Other: 6%
Not sure: 3%

Harry Reid v. Sue Lowden

Reid:39%
Lowden: 54%
Other: 4%
Not sure: 2%

Harry Reid v. Danny Tarkanian

Reid:42%
Tarkanian: 49%
Other: 6%
Not sure: 2%

Compounding Reid’s problems in the state is the opposition to ObamaCare (57% of voters oppose it), which he guided through the Senate. Also, 62% of Nevada voters view Reid unfavorably or very unfavorably.

There is a third party factor here in Scott Ashjian, who some predict will help Reid if his candidacy withstands a legal challenge. More specifically, some Republicans believe that Ashjian is a plant by Reid.
