Freedom Alliance response to allegations

After posting the allegations against Sean Hannity yesterday, I received a response later in the day from the Freedom Alliance, who are calling the charges “false and malicious.”

They note that Hannity has “contributed $100,000 to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, over $200,000 to the 2. Freedom Alliance, and over tens of thousands of dollars to other military charities and individuals.”

The Freedom Alliance also says that the money, currently $15 million, is being disbursed as children of soldiers come of age, and that the money already disbursed cannot be counted as an accurate measure of how the fund has handled money.

You can read Freedom Alliance’s response in full here.

How much has gone out to those who gave up arms and legs in there service. Shame on you if it is only 200.00 or 900.00 dollars as stated in the tax forms. What do you mean the money already disbursed can not be counted ass accurate- Please do not think we are stupid- you need to come clean now.

Please read the PDF. They are saying that the money distributed is for children of soldiers that have come of age. The rest of the money cannot be paid out until the kids come of age.

Organizations who want to donate money to children set up trust funds, organizations who are up to something say they will hold onto the money themselves for up to 18 years.

the 2006 Tax Return clearly itemized all expenditure on page 2 Line 44. Over $5 millions is spent on adminstrative cost with postage & printing over 2 millions. Management is listed as separate column, same with fundraising. In other words, for year ‘06, the bulk of donation spent on items other than scholarship to childrens of servicemen wounded in action. Further, the scholarship fund is available to other high school students (with proper political alignment?)

I completely agree with Jesse Lopez.
