A Pledge To Resist Obamacare

According to the blog NoodleFood, Objectivist philosopher Andrew Bernstein has issued a public pledge to resist Obamacare. The pledge is as follows:

If the government takes over health care, I will refuse to buy their package, refuse to pay the fine imposed, and make them arrest me. I will broadcast my refusal to cave to socialism on my website, on Facebook, to my students, in my lectures, and on the radio. I will fight this in the courts—or will the D.C. Fascists suspend the right to trial by jury? I suspect—and hope—that millions of Americans will do the same.

I’ll take this pledge. Will you?

I’m on-board.

You guys use the term of fascist on people you brandmark as socialists? Too much fast food consumed? There were fascists in Washington but they came from the republican party, not the democrats. But maybe you just have a different understanding of being social and why caring about others sincerely is compatible with being christian. We wait for the around when the first appear in the US. Either ‘real’ christian believers or socially developed.

b.n.w,

First of all, maybe you should look what up what an Objectivist is before you go into your anti-Christian rant. (By the way, great job showing that Progressive tolerance we’ve all become accustomed to.)

Secondly, you should also look up what a fascist is. Let me give you a hint, it isn’t opponents of Obamacare.

Thirdly, I do have compassion. I have compassion for those who will either be forced to buy government dictated health insurance plans or fined if they do not do so. I have compassion for those businesses who will be put out of business because they will be forced by law to buy government dictated insurance or be fined. I have compassion for those who will be forced to bear the burdens of higher prescription drug costs and higher medical costs because of new taxes and government regulations.

I’m with you! So are about 20 of my friends and we’re spreading the word. I have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The government can take their health care scam and cram it up their ass! I refuse to pay for any of it or receive any such welfare.
