Feminists have really beclowned themselves with their latest…

FCKH8 Feminist Video

Some days you just have to wonder how much longer our culture can survive. We were once a nation that valued knowledge, enlightenment, hard work, honesty, and charity, among other noble character traits. Now, it seems we have become a nation of narcissistic, selfie-taking, self-indulgent, dim-witted brats who throw tantrums until we get our way.

Last week I turned on the radio, only to have my ears assaulted with a local radio station’s discussion of an ad released a few days ago by an organization called FCKH8, the title of which is “Potty-Mouthed Princesses Drop F-Bombs for Feminism.” The ad features young girls, who appear to be between six and eight years old, who repeatedly vomit the “F-bomb” as a way to shock the audience and get attention for their message, which is, essentially, that women are victims (if you want to see it you’ll have to Google it…I won’t dignify it by linking to it).

The ad starts off with several very young girls, dressed up in princess outfits, saying “Pretty…pretty…pretty…” when suddenly one screeches “What the F***?! I’m not some pretty F-ing helpless princess in distress…I’m pretty F-ing powerful!”

Seriously? This is how you make a point? By getting little girls to parrot the raging victimization rant of grown women ticked off at life? By making these little girls sound like common trailer trash rather than teaching them to embrace the strength of their femininity? Far from making me more likely to consider their opinions, it disgusted me to see the depth radical leftists (whether vulgar feminists demanding equality, or radical environmentalists calling for global warming “deniers” to be imprisoned) will sink to bully their way to public policy victories.

The sad thing is that what came next was a string of false claims that have been repeatedly debunked.

The ad first claims “women are paid 23% less than men for the same work.” That myth has been debunk’d by no less than the American Association of University Women (AAUW), in their study “Graduating to a Pay Gap.” As noted feminist Christina Hoff Sommers writes, “The AAUW has now joined ranks with serious economists who find that when you control for relevant differences between men and women (occupations, college majors, length of time in workplace) the wage gap narrows to the point of vanishing. The 23-cent gap is simply the average difference between the earnings of men and women employed “full time.” What is important is the “adjusted” wage gap-the figure that controls for all the relevant variables. That is what the new AAUW study explores.”

But don’t let the truth get in the way of a potent political weapon; the White House certainly won’t. Earlier this year, when the White House was called out on the so-called wage gap, Betsey Stevenson, a member of the White House Council of Economic Advisers not only admitted that they knew it was a lie, but had a hard time explaining why the White House itself pays women far less than men for the exact same work!

The profane little princesses next lament the “fact” that “one in five women will be sexually assaulted by a man, or raped.” This statistic has become accepted through unchallenged repetition, not fact. The claim comes from a study conducted from 2005-2007 by the National Institute for Justice. The problem is, the study is highly flawed. As noted by Newsday columnist Cathy Young, the definition of sexual assault used by the study is overly broad; fully 70% of the incidents categorized as assaults in this study “involved ‘incapacitation’ by alcohol or drugs. But the survey question was worded so broadly that ‘incapacitation’ could mean a lot of different things: from being unconscious or barely conscious to being intoxicated enough to suffer from impaired judgment.”

Get that? The study categorizes as “assault” any sexual activity where the woman was operating under impaired judgment, even when the sexual activity was consensual. In such a case, would not both parties be at fault? Tellingly, two-thirds of the women which the study categorized at victims of sexual assault did not themselves feel that the incident constituted a crime.

The problem with such hyperbole on such a serious subject is that we become desensitized to claims of rape. It’s like hearing a car alarm that goes off every night, or hearing Al Sharpton claiming racism…it reaches a point where no one believes it anymore, which is horrible, because now actual victims of rape and sexual assault are less likely to be believed.

The rant continues when the girls declare “Society is teaching girls that our bodies, boobs, and butts are more important than our brains; this leads us to thinking that our worth comes from our waist line. My aspirations in life should not be worrying about the shape of my ass, so stop focusing on how I look and give me a book!”

As the father of four amazing, intelligent, gifted daughters, I actually agree with this point wholeheartedly, which is why the brutal irony is so apparent to me.

Just before that little clip (when the discussion was still on the so-called rape epidemic), a girl says “Here’s a hot tip…stop telling girls how to dress, and start teaching boys not to F-ing rape!” So, on the one hand we are being told that a girl should not be looked upon by a guy as a sexual object, but on the other hand, we are told, girls should be able to wear whatever they want – including tank tops, crop tops, bare midriffs, mini-skirts, tight jeans, and shorts so short that they don’t even cover their butt cheeks.

Here’s a tip for whiny, profane feminists: If you don’t want guys to focus on your bodies, then don’t wear clothes that are designed to bring our focus on your bodies!

The hypocrisy from the feminist movement is truly mind-boggling. The top selling magazine in America geared towards the feminist is Cosmopolitan. Founded in the 1880’s as a literary publication, after years of declining sales it was repackaged as a women’s magazine, with feminist icon Helen Gurley Brown serving as editor-in-chief/U.S. editor from 1965 until 1997. Gurley was a champion of sexual liberation for women, and was noted for such titillating comments as ‘Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls go everywhere.”

The magazine became synonymous with promiscuity and unapologetic pursuit of sex without guilt for women. The magazine’s covers are known for women in bikinis or low cut dresses (or nothing at all), and it has also featured centerfolds of nude men. Double standard much?

The October 2014 cover of Cosmopolitan features actress Emmy Rossum in a tight black dress, and such headlines as “10 Craziest Sex Moves We’ve Ever Tried,” “Men Only Need Two things - Grilled Cheese and Sex,” and “Butt & Leg Work-out: Get the Ass You Deserve!”

And it’s MEN who are degrading women? The supposed champions of feminism are peddling the very trash that these brainwashed, profane little pixies are ranting about.

Society absolutely needs to encourage a perception of women that focuses on their intelligence, their femininity, their strength, and their character. And what better place to start than with the foul-mouthed, smut-peddling icons of feminism themselves?
