Did Dianne Feinstein Lie About Guns?

You get it, right? Dianne Feinstein doesn’t like guns. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say, “Yes Dianne, we get it.” Feinstein has a history with guns. You see, she became mayor of San Francisco when Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone were murdered by city supervisor Dan White. This is a point that Feinstein uses to leverage her position on guns into being somehow more moral than that of gun rights advocates.
Yesterday, Sen. Ted Cruz asked her if she would be as quick to circumvent the First and Fourth Amendments as she is to gut the Second. Her response [emphasis added]:
“I’m not a sixth grader,” said responded. “Senator, I’ve been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in, I saw people shot. I’ve looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I’ve seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered. Look, there are other weapons.”
“I’ve been up — I’m not a lawyer, but after 20 years I’ve been up close and personal to the Constitution. I have great respect for it. This doesn’t mean that weapons of war and the Heller decision clearly points out three exceptions, two of which are pertinent here.”
Feinstein is saying that she saw Milk and Moscone’s bodies, and that is at least half true. She is the one who discovered Milk’s body, and she might have seen Moscone’s. However, she goes on to imply that they were killed with “these weapons”, which is complete bull. Dan White, who murdered Milk and Moscone, used a revolver, the one weapon type that Feinstein is doing nothing about.
Now, I’ll admit it’s possible she’s talking about different bodies, but there’s nothing there to indicate that.
However, it’s also time to quit acting like she’s the only person to have witnessed violence. In fact, Dr. Suzanne Hupp has as well. She was dining with her parents in Lubby’s Diner in Killeen, Tx when a madman rammed the diner and began to kill people. Two of those were Hupp’s parents.
Hupp, who had a carry permit, had left her gun in the car in accordance with Texas state law.
This is someone who actually witnessed the violence, and owned the means to end it before two of the most important people in her life were gunned down before her eyes, but was disarmed by the laws of the land. The irony is that had she broken the law, her parents would have survived that day.
So, pardon me for being less than sympathetic that Dianne Feinstein saw bodies of two political colleagues when Hupp witnessed the murder of two family members.
Time and time again, Feinstein uses her experiences back in San Francisco and how she became mayor as the grounds for being justified in attacking the constitutional rights of law abiding Americans. It doesn’t. As one of millions of Americans who has drawn a gun in defense of his life, I’m deeply offended that she sees my rights as being so cheaply disposed of.
For the record, I used a semiautomatic handgun when I defended myself. Feinstein’s law treats these pistols as the same as an AR or AK…and if it passes, treats them the same as a M-2 .50 caliber machine gun.
Honestly, bad things can happen, but does Feinstein really think that a law against assault weapons would have stopped Dan White from using his .38 revolver to kill two political opponents? She should know better anyways. After all, it’s been reported that she owned the exact same model of firearm…yet miraculously killed no one.
Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
At the time of the Killeen Lubys shooting there were no concealed permits in Texas. She was carrying in her car under a vague exemption for people traveling. The shooting, and Ms Hupp, helped push the changes and CHL permits through the legislature.
I think she lied about the exceptions in the Heller decision as well. She claims that there are three exceptions in the Heller decision, two of which apply.
The three that I can think of are “sensitive locations” “unusual weapons” and “dangerous weapons”.
The AR15 and similar weapons are some of the most common and popular rifles in the country, so “unusual” clearly does not apply.
Rifles, in general, are used in a tiny percentage of murders, so “dangerous” does not apply.
She is just making things up. Leftist lie. They are especially good at lying to themselves.
I don’t care if she was a bystander, a responding EMT, or even the murderer themselves, and I don’t care if she has anyone agreeing with her, be it nobody or everybody.
None of that has any bearing on my right, and I quote, “to keep and bear arms”.
She lied about seeing bullets implode; I’ve been around awhile, and have worked with various weapons systems and ordnance, but have never seen an “imploding bullet.”
Come on John fess up! We’ve all seen imploding bullets, as well as leprechauns, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny… Hey Feinstein, all of us already have Mamas. There’s no need for you to exact a curfew or make us eat our broccoli. How arrogant of you to believe we need you to tell us how and what to think. How tyrannical of you to believe you can tell us how to live. How evil of you to believe you have the right to take a way the citizen’s freedoms. How evident is your lack of character to then LIE about any and everything to push your agenda. Arrogant, tyrannical, evil and a liar. Just another typical progressive politician.

I would have liked to have asked three questions, had I been there and had the opportunity.
First, are you aware, Senator, that Senator Cruz is extremely familiar with Heller? He wrote amicus briefs on behalf of 25 states. Second, what were you doing sticking your fingers into bullet wounds?
Finally, I’d like to try a box of imploding rounds; to they come in .45 ACP?
Maybe 4. “Senator, isn’t it time for your meds? or a nap?”
I was thinking about this just this morning, but in a different way.
She’d mentioned that she thinks PTSD is “something new” that’s come out of the Iraq wars and should disqualify veterans from firearms ownership; despite this being patently false and observable in Vietnam and WWII veterans as well.
The Wikipedia article on this assassination says she accidentally stuck her finger in one of Harvey Milk’s wounds when trying to check for a pulse. Pretty traumatic, one would think.
Is it possible she tried to defer PTSD as being a “recent development” to try and guide people away from the fact that a lot of her efforts over the past 35 years come from a traumatic experience? If she herself suffers from PTSD, what does that spell out for the reputability of her legislation?

Dianne Finkstain doesn’t like OTHER people to own guns. She has no problem with herself or her family or her friends owning guns. She can own guns, all she wants, but you and I should not be permitted to own guns. This is her actual position. It’s like the problem with world population. Her answer is to reduce world population, but again that’s a reduction in population that does NOT include reducing herself or any members of her family, well, reducing the members of her family that she doesn’t like is probably OK with her. Don’t ya just love this self-serving, hypocrite ratsnake Dianne Finkstrain?
Keep in mind that her Progressive ideology is the basis for the Eugenics Movement (Planned Parenthood) and was adopted by teachers in the Education and Propaganda Department of the Bavarian Reichswehr. Here Hitler received considerable training in Progressive political thinking. Diane is a member of this elite Progressive group and thus not subject to the restrictions needed by lesser or sub-humans.

One group of people she exempts from her legislation is the group of people MOST likely to have PTSD - police officers. Their PTSD incident rate is far above military personnel. And this group of people is the group most likely by far to have contact, armed contact, with the public.

Tom Knighton, who wrote this,is just picking apart what she said, and what she experienced in her past. This is just a fluff piece propaganda. Let’s just all agree she’s ignorant and should be in a retirement home.
Personally, I think that Feinstein and others like her should be swinging from the nearest oak. These people are traitors and should be treated as such. It really is that simple.

The time to retire this old worn out lying hypocrite was when she was Mayor of San Francisco. When she was elected as Mayor the city had the largest budget surplus in its history. When she left office it had the largest budget deficit in its history! She has applied the same degree of expertise to everything she has done all of her worthless life! At one time in my life, I lived in San Francisco and was under the impression that the citizens were fairly well educated, so, now I would have to question, did they drink every bit of the “kool-aid”? Obviously so!

The only weapon I know of that can do that is a M-2 50 cal machine gun which the public can not own with out special permits from the fed government. You are behaving exactly like most senior-citizens do in Florida. You enjoyed your freedoms throughout a long life and now that you are about to expire, you forgot how good life can be in a free country and want to limit our constitutional rights. To explain myself, I would like to mention a recent incident in South Florida where the homeowners association (HOA) of a single family home community banned kids from ridding bicycles, skates, skateboards, and any kind of wheeled children vehicle for safety reasons. Total madness! This kind of reasoning is most common in Florida because the seniors are the ones that have nothing better to do than try to rule the world around them, by abusing the authority of these HOAs, instead of working for the homeowners. You obviously suffer from PTSD as a result of your traumatic life experience with the murders you witnessed in San Francisco. You are obviously trying to abuse your position to try to push your own agenda, not the one of the people who you are supposed to represent in congress. Your excessive-compulsive-behavior when it comes to the subject of gun control, and the way you ignore what your fellow Americans want is a significant indicator that you are starting to suffer from senile-dementia. I recommend you seek mental health treatment, retire and come down to Florida to join your fellow tyrant senior citizens, and leave the decision making to “We the People.”
When she avoids answering a simple question and starts bragging about her self-righteous career, it shows she indeed may be guilty of something like lying. What a drama queen - she is an embarrassment to women. If I had a gun back when I was assaulted years ago in a woman’s restroom, my family would not have had to deal with and overcome the traumatic effects of the assault. No innocent potential victim should have the power to defend themselves taken away from them. As one can see, an attacker usually strikes quickly when one is alone and vulnerable…when least expected. Honorable law abiding citizens hard at work going about their days are all innocent POTENTIAL victims.

The CT law against the type of weapon Adam Lanza didn’t stop him, did it? Nor did it stop Nancy Lanza from owning it. Restrictive guns law INCREASE gun violence. History shows us that over and over again.
I was watching Fox 40 news on Sun. morning, and she made some comment in that clip about “putting fingers in the bullet hole”… And I was just WTF are you talking about??? She wouldn’t have possible walked in that room, saw the guy dead, and then stuck her finger in the bullet hole. I mean really???
