Ted Cruz Reads Tweets in Support of Rand Paul’s Historic Filibuster

Because Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had been speaking on the floor since late this morning filibustering the nomination of John Brennan, President Obama’s pick to lead the CIA, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) came to the floor to read tweets of support from #StandWithRand on Twitter, which is currentluy trending nationally.

Sen. Cruz joined several members of the chamber, including Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Jerry Moran (R-KS), Pat Toomey (R-PA), and Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), in highlighting the lack of transparency of the Obama Administration’s drones program.

This happened in the eighth hour of Sen. Paul’s filibuster, which is now into its 10 hour — 10 hours, folks, without a real break:

All of the Senators and Congressmen should stand with Rand to protect and defend the Constitution from foriegn and domestic forces, including obama. What he has done and continues to do is treason and he needs to be dealt with!

I will add this to my post above. Rand Paul is his father’s son. He deserves high praise from every patriot and support from every American who values what this country once was. We all need to contact our representatives and tell them it is time to do the job they are being paid for by the people of this country. That job is as stated above; to protect the constition and stop the insanity from the White House!

I do not understand why our reps. are sitting back and allowing the Constitution to be destroyed right in front of their eyes and in many cases, with their help. Is it drugs, is it fear, or is it a terrible lack of education. Without the Constitution we are a lawless land. All over America people are seeing an increase of military machines and troops from other lands. Nothing is being told to the American people about what is going on. What is going on. Our money is being used. What is being hidden in plain sight? Our money is being used to give foreign aid to countries we do not approve of. Yet still, we have no voice. The truth of all of this is that no one will escape a truly lawless society. Require two things of those who wish to run. A lie detector test and a Constitution test.
