Nominees For The 1st Annual “20 Hottest Libertarian Women In New Media” Contest

Here at United Liberty, we are introducing the first annual “20 Hottest Libertarian Women In New Media” contest.

One of the negative stereotypes of libertarians is that we’re all a bunch of white males who worship Ayn Rand. Hopefully, by showcasing some of the most attractive (and intelligent as well) women in the liberty movement we can help combat this.

The basic requirements to be eligible for nomination are:

1) Must self-identify as libertarian, limited-government conservative, constitutional conservative, etc. They must actually be invovled in the liberty movement.

2) Must be 18 years of age or older.

3) Must meet just one of the following “New Media” requirements below:

A) Have at least 200 followers on Twitter

B) Write for an online publication or an offline publication with an online presence (such as Reason magazine)

C) Contribute or publish a blog

D) Work for a libertarian or otherwise pro-liberty organization and have a social media presence or work in anything new media related (social networking, video, Internet campaigning, etc.)

E) Maintain a somewhat active YouTube channel devoted to promoting libertarian ideas.

Nominations can be made in the comments section of this post. Self-nominations are welcome as well.

You can also e-mail me KBoyd1984 -at- gmail.com with the subject “20 Hottest libertarian women nominee” with your nominations. Any e-mails without that subject will be ignored. You can also Tweet me your nominees @kevinboyd1984.

The deadline for nominations will be on Friday, July 13 at 9:00 PM Central. No nominations will be accepted after that time.

Finally, for the ladies, I understand our female contributors are working on “20 hottest libertarian men in New Media” which will take place after this contest is done. After all, its only fair.

Attention Jason Pye: Please hotlink the links to outside stories that you post instead of just pasting in a URL—in that form they don’t show up in a feed reader at all.

Huh? I get what you’re saying, but maybe use a better RSS feed. Google Reader shows links.
