If you’ve been following the reaction to Sen. Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitt Romney, you know there are a lot of people disappointed. Our own Brian Lehman noted on Friday that Sen. Paul didn’t have much of a choice other than to endorse Romney if he wanted to have any future or influence inside the Republican Party.
In a new video, Jack Hunter (also known as the “Southern Avenger”) explained that Sen. Paul had always said that he would endorse the Republican nominee, regardless of whom it may be, against President Barack Obama. He also explains that Sen. Paul only made the endorsement after his father, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), conceded that he didn’t have the delegates to secure the GOP nomination:
United Liberty

BS is just spewing out of Hunter’s mouth. There is no room for compromise with the Republican establishment. Hunter is truly kidding himself, and unfortunately many others as well, to assume that the establishment will ever return the favor and support our Constitutionalist principles. Rand and Hunter are over strategizing for a day that will never come.
Frankly, our movement should be muckraking. We should be causing as much disruption as possible. There is no need to compromise with the establishment. Compromise, and all u get is more status quo; nothing changes and they win.
Playing nice is a losing strategy. It is what they want us to do. Stop playing their game, and let’s take our country back.
As a political move, I think Hunter’s right. I was pissed when I first saw the situation with Rand endorsing Romney. I’m still not happy about it. With that said, “As a Political Move”, it was the only thing he could do.
After all, this **IS** a political move, and he **IS** a politician… He’s proven that quite a few times.
You go after your political gains, Rand. The Liberty Movement will take it from here and secure our own damn freedom.
