Time to Put the Pressure On

Alright, folks, we had a minor defeat tonight, but the battle is not over.  A Senate vote of 74-25 is not indicative of the feelings of the American people, so we need to ensure that the House does a better job tomorrow of representing their constituents and upholding the Constitution.  Please go to track.nocashfortrash.org to find your Congressperson’s contact info and let them know tomorrow that you expect a “nay” vote.  Remind them that their job is to represent the people in their district or they need to look for another job.

I sent my Representative (T. Walberg) an email, earlier, thanking him for his vote against the measure on Monday. I figured that the Senate would be treasonous towards the people, so I added a request for him to vote no on any new measures going through the House.

I requested a response from him, so we’ll see if and what he said.
