Operation St. Paul
The Western Standard is reporting that Dr. Paul’s followers have been hard at work, preparing the twin cities for the influx of RNC delegates. Determined to get the Texas Congressman’s message out there, “Operation St. Paul” was set in motion. Part of the push is in the form of billboards, such as this, showcased in the Minneapolis area.
Dr. Paul’s message of freedom is a powerful one, and The Revolution: A Manifesto has become to the Freedom Fighter what a gospel tract is to an evangelical Christian. I know of many Paul supporters who have bought dozens of copies to hand out. For the millions of voters out there frustrated with the direction our government has taken us and disgusted with the options the two major parties have handed them, Dr. Paul’s book offers the answers our country needs.

As a Canadian we ALL see what is going on in your country and even though Mr. Paul has some policies that are iffy, he is a true American and loves his country and people.
Even most of your citizens think Obama will be change although not many people talk about his policies in depth, or who shady people he has on his campaign team.
Mccain is not even worth mentioning..I’d actually rejoice if he fell over and died.
@Ryan “has some policies that are iffy” c’mon man, you can say that same thing about anyone.
Dr. Paul is incredible. He has inspired me in ways no other politician ever could.
Many are awakening to the media-hidden facts that there is so much that is seriously wrong here in the USA, especially when constitutionalists are considered terrorists! Although much of what Obama said in his acceptance speech sounded inspiring to many who heard-watched, I personally am shocked that none of the most CRUCIAL issues we face, issues that Dr Ron Paul has been helping patriots to understand, were mentioned in his speech. Obama did not mention the escalating police state and fascism, the Central Banking (Fed) corruption and the IRS; not a word was mentioned about the shredded constitution and what he would do to help restore our pre 911 civil liberties!Basically, he did not mention the MOST serious issues we face as a nation in a very fallen world! As most of those SERIOUS global fiascos unfold, both these parties are largely under the same corrupt influences-umbrella run by international organized crime! These are very strange times we live in! I hope everyone out there is praying for the HIGHEST GOOD for all on this planet,, whatever that is, which may be a mystery to us all! What a mess it seems!

A wise politician treads lightly during the campaign. Dr. Paul scared off a lot of people.
The assertion implicit in the billboard’s message is based on at least one, maybe two, false assumptions.
The government spending money anywhere for any purpose is not the same thing as spending tax money. It is far worse.
All the federal government has done is put many many huge expenditures on a sort of credit card. They still do not put either war in the formal budget. Until those expenditures are budgeted for and paid, tax revenues are not involved.
From this far away it is hard to tell who owned the bridge that failed in MN?. What unit of government built the bridge: City? County? State? Federal?
If the bridge wasn’t maintained as part of the federal government—and thus a federal responsibility to maintain—the argument falls flat on the second implicit point.
Some unit of government chose to spend funds on something other than bridge maintenance. Either they diverted budgeted funds, or failed to budget need funds. As a result people died.
That may or may not have been a federal government decision. Someone should be made to answer for that decision, though.
Until government, at all levels is accountable, meaningful progress will not be made.
Ryan: “…fell over and died.”
21st January 2009 would be a good day.
Whoo!
Did I really say that…?
That’d be a terrible thing. Him dying in general would be bad because his female vee pee would get the sympathy vote. Politicians dying does not help his opponents. If Bush fell over dead, the republicans would definitely win through a sympathy vote. Just look a that one guy who won an election after he died, but was still on the ballot.

Every last dime belongs to the people! Regardless how it is spent…its still the peoples money.
The message on the billboard puts into context the fact that the U.S. government is neglecting home in favor of empire building.
The message from Ron Paul has not resonated with all of the people because nothing catastrophic has happened to make them seek out his solutions.
Unfortunately for the citizens of the U.S. (and possibly citizens in many other countries) the next 4 years look pretty bleak.
Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich
For President in 2008
and I really don’t think it matters
which one gets which job.
Vote Weird, not Evil.
@kevin

I do not believe this
Ryan, Stephen Harper = George Bush, what rock have you been hiding beneath?

True, and that is why this country has been going down the shitter the last 60 years. Why do people want to keep hearing the same old lies?
A real Person/politician tells it like it is.

Actually not. The Federal Reserve owns the money. They are a privately owned bank - Not part of the Federal Gov. They print Un-Constitutional “money” out of thin air, and then charge you interest on it.
Its a Debt System. We the people have no real money in circulation. So no- its not our money. Sorry.
And if McSame did tip over dead, his VP choice would be a hell of a better choice as Pres. than McSame or Obama. Would not bother me.
@Chuck George: Don’t which that on McSame! Then we would get that right wing, can’t-control-her-reproduction lunatic Palin! Sweet Jesus! We would all be better off moving to Iran. It would be less of a theocracy than a US under her whacked out “leadership”!
Very impressed! Very Informative website!
