Last night on Hannity asked Newt Gingrich:
“I am hearing some pretty credible rumors from people that know that Senator McCain has really narrowed down his selection process to about two or three people, and one of those people would be Joe Lieberman. Would that be a good choice in your view?”
Newt replied:
“Well, I like Senator Lieberman a great deal, I admire him a lot, he’d be a great Secretary of State, he’d be terrific as an Attorney General, but the idea of him being the Republican Vice President nominee would split the convention, and Bob Barr would get 15% of the vote”
Here is the clip.

In my opinion, that would be a Godsend if it gets Bob Barr 15% of the vote. It’d really put the Libertarian party on the map.
There isn’t any differences in Republicrats and Demicans. Bob Barr is the right choice.
Good Lord, McCain/Lieberman sounds like a nightmare. By the way, why is Seattle Gingrich’s background? They let him in there?
Pick Joe! Pick Joe! Please pick Joe.
Mr. Gingrich is correct. Let’s not split the convention and I suggest that McCain select Mr. Gingrich as his running mate. The former Speaker know as much about the operation of the House as any current man alive. He is knowledgeable of foreign affairs, and certainly is knowledgeable of the affairs of the Unites States of America.
